Arbitration

ICC has long been recognised as the world’s leading organisation in the field of commercial dispute resolution.

The ICC International Court of Arbitration has pioneered international commercial arbitration since its establishment in 1923 and continues to provide international business with practical alternatives to court litigation.

Since its creation, the Court has administered more that 17,000 arbitration cases involving parties and arbitrators from some 180 countries and territories. Last year, a total of 793 cases were filed with the Court, involving more that 2,000 parties.

ICC members have the unique opportunity to shape the processes and procedures used in ICC Arbitrations and other ICC alternative dispute resolution services.

Our arbitration pages are intended to provide an insight into the full range of ICC’s dispute resolution services, as well as resources to assist both businesses and legal practitioners.
